To Sean and Erica...

John and my good friends, Sean and Erica just got engaged on Friday, September 28th...as you can see above, Sean caught the garter as our wedding (I guess the tradition is correct)!!! We're so happy for them...they're two of the sweetest, caring people you will ever meet! May God grant them many, many years!!! =) We love you both!!!

What is your favorite (toy) stuffed animal?
- a bear that my husband got me that has a little t-shirt on with a picture of Gwen Stefani on it!

What do you think of stuffed animals as gifts?
- I think it is soooo cute, I love stuffed animals. I have so many!

What do you do with a stuffed animal you don’t want?
- I have never thrown a stuffed animal away. I've never gotten a stuffed animal that I didn't want.

What are your thoughts on the whole Beanie Babies craze of the nineties?
- I never got into it much, but one of my best friends (Chrissy Carisle) did. She had sooo many!

How many stuffed animals do you own?
- Way too many to count, John and I have kept most of them in plastic garbage bags until we have some space to put them all. Our future kids will love them!

Our goal in 2 years..

Most newlyweds start talking about buying houses, having children, etc as goals in the coming years (which we have) but...but if you're married to someone like me, getting a puppy is high on the list of "things-to-do". I have owned a dog since I was born and have never really lived without one, so naturally moving away from my mom's house where our dog is has been extremely difficult for me. There is nothing (short of kids) that makes you feel more loved and needed than that cute waggy tail welcoming you home after a long day at work :)

Thank God, I am married to such a caring and understanding guy who really has showed support and love regarding this issue. Some may say, "it's only a dog!"....but if you own a dog, you understand where I am coming from. Which leads me to my point, John and I sat down tonight and really discussed eventually getting me a puppy. Our goal is to get one Christmas '2008.

We will be getting a mini golden-doodle, from the same breeder that my mom got our dog "Kai"...who is a male large golden doodle. For those of you who are not familiar with this fairly new breed..I have included pictures!!!

I'm soooooo excited, even though I have a little over a year to go! :)

Sorry Ladies that it took me soo long to post this picture of us....with the wedding and all, I forgot! This is us when we all went to Vegas for a weekend to see the Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguliera in concert at Mandalay Bay! We all had soo much fun!

And the top pictures are some of my bridesmaids (my sister, and two best friends having one trial makeup run done for the wedding!) :)
